Rod Forge is forging a new path and we are starting at the 2023 International Custom Rod Building Exposition (ICRBE) in Winston-Salem, North Carolina on February 25 & 26, 2023! The event consists of 50,000 square feet of rod building supply manufacturer and dealer exhibits, 65 booths and over 3000 custom rod builders. This is equivalent to the Super Bowl for those interested in building custom fishing rods.
Rod builders (and future rod builders) get the chance to talk directly with designers of the products that use these items every day. This is the world’s largest event for the custom rod building craft and industry, larger in fact, than all other rod building events, gatherings, etc. combined. The list of vendors is full of custom rod builders, components, handles, reel seats and everything else you can think of when it comes to rod building. Vendors will also be offering products to consumers at show pricing.
Rod Forge will be bringing hundreds of blanks to get into the hands of builders. We will have a selection of freshwater and inshore blanks, as well as a large selection of prototypes at a large discount so customers can see and feel the Rod Forge quality.
This year we will have a smaller selection of rod models, but we will continuously be adding to our lineup. We will be looking for color and blank recommendations from our customers to make sure they have the blanks they want to catch the fish they need.
